Job Title: Advisor, Business Insights
Division: Strategic Planning, Engagement & Analytics

The Advisor, Business Insights reports to the Vice President, Strategic Planning, Engagement & Analytics and will facilitate the execution of the CBA’s stakeholder engagement strategy and assist in developing effective reporting, insights, and process improvements to advance the CBA’s engagement with member banks and other stakeholders.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Vice President, Strategic Planning, Engagement & Analytics, and other CBA colleagues, to ensure member engagement and satisfaction.
  • Support the business roadmap and evolution of tools and processes to advance our operating model, to support member engagement, including a CRM system, reporting, relationship management frameworks and member surveys.
  • Identifies opportunities to strengthen business analysis and reporting in support of member bank engagement and satisfaction.
  • Analyze information and make recommendations about business processes, provide reporting support and insights for the CBA’s strategic planning and ongoing policy development and advocacy objectives.
  • Monitor KPIs to assess progress against organizational priorities and generate reports and insights on same for the Vice President and CBA senior leadership.
  • Support the development of strategies, processes, and tactics to drive best in class stakeholder experiences.
  • As needed, act as Secretary for CBA committees and specialists/working groups.
  • Complete such other projects and assignments as may be assigned from time to time.

Key Qualifications, Abilities and Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience and post secondary degree or diploma in business, economics, or related program of study.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with an interest in working in a dynamic environment and organizational change management.
  • Experience with software such as SharePoint, Power BI or other reporting tools is useful for data reporting and insights.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross functional teams to determine information sharing opportunities that support increased transparency with members.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to leverage multiple sources of information to identify trends and develop insights that drive recommendations for value added information and services for members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and issues.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry would be an asset.
